Ultrasound

The ultrasound – is the organs and tissues screening by means of ultrasound waves. Different thickness of the tissue (namely thickness of the tissue borders) causes different reflection of the ultrasound waves. Special receiver registers these changes and transforms them into the graphic picture which can be fixed at the special photo paper. Ultrasound diagnostic method is very simple; it has no contraindications and is designed for multiple use. There is no threat of the patient’s irradiation. |

The ultrasound is widely adopted in medicine (obstetrics, genecology, paediatrics, urology, cardio vascular system).
It is of paramount importance for the patient to be properly prepared for the upcoming ultrasound examination and have the results of the previous examinations (for the right reading and dynamic of process evaluation).
The ultrasound unit is equipped by two apparatus of referential class ACUSON Antares Premium Edition at the prise 200 000 EURO each.
This system permits to built a four-dimensional ultrasound picture of the organ examined; to get a detailed image of the anatomic structures and injured area, and to view them simultaneously in several projections.
