Personal vacuum systems for taking blood samples
Using closed vacuum systems for taking vein blood samples is highly convenient for both the patient and the physician, and safe in terms of excluding the possibility of blood contacting with the environment.
|
The system ensures the highest possible accuracy in observing the rules of preanalytical stage in laboratory examinations, substantially decreasing the possibility of error. The system's diversity provides for safe and comfortable blood sampling for all types of laboratory testing. The vacuum blood collection system is similar to a regular syringe, but instead of having a regular piston it uses the pressure created by vacuum inside the test-tube. Blood taken for production of serum or plasma is centrifuged directly within the test-tube using separating gel, which separates serum from grume, and thus secures quality long-term storage of the specimen. Pros of blood sampling using vacuum systems |
![]() |
-
Ability to collect blood into two or more test-tubes within a short period of time without having to insert the needle more then one time.
-
Swiftness of the blood collection procedure (5-10 seconds).
-
Providing highest safety level possible for the medical personnel administering the test - the system is constructed in such a way that there is no possibility of blood specimen contacting the environment.
-
Ensuring the highest level of precision in blood to anticoagulant ratio.
-
Ability to use the test-tube without having to open the top when working with certain automatic analyzers.
Best choice for manipulations is using vacuum systems.
